Company expands services and adds VR Stamp and Certificate of Authorization for Field Services

HOUSTON – January 7, 2014 - Great Western Valve, Inc., an industrial valve company specializing in repair, remanufacturing, and field services, announced today it has received its three year renewal and Certificate of Authorization (VR Stamp) from the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors.  Great Western Valve, Inc. provides pre-test, repair, and set-pressure services for all types of relief valves (SRV, PSV, & RV).  The VR Stamp renewal also includes and authorizes Great Western Valve to provide relief valve services in the field at customers’ locations.

Great Western Valve’s integrated services include complete repair and remanufacturing on all types of control, pipeline, and safety relief valves plus instruments, positioners, and actuators. The company also provides field services to support its customers onsite needs.  The company’s 22,000 square foot Houston production shop is fully equipped to handle any relief valve, pre-test, repair, and set pressure service.
